The story behind the flying cat is that Bart Jansen’s cat was hit by a car.
The cat is dead.
It’s owner teamed up with a radio control helicopter expert who placed the propellers to his dead cat’s four paws and attached some other mechanics inside.
His cat is named Orville Wright for the aviator pioneer.
Orville now known as the “Orvillecopter” is a piece of art at the Kunstrai Art Festival in Amsterdam.
Jansen said he wanted to pay tribute to his beloved pet.
